Together with fellow adventurers in The Whiskey Room @ Sarino’s, embark on an original narrative that blends reality and fantasy in a truly unique and engaging experience.

The realm of Castell y Hyll awaits those brave enough to explore the secrets, wonders and stories that are held within. Become part of the Book One Narrative and drive “Progress” within our shared world.

During every Friday night session you will:

• Play with a Professional Dungeon Master, each of which an outstanding storyteller and orchestrator of thrilling tabletop roleplaying game play.
• Explore an original short form adventure written by your Professional DM.
• Make an impact, and know the influence of others, on the hybrid fictional world of Castell y Hyll as created by your host, The Tavern Keeper.
• Enjoy thematic and inspiring surrounds within The Castle Hill Taverns customised play space.
• Engage with welcoming, social, inventive and accessible Dungeons & Dragons game play with resources and assistance at the ready.
• Access unique opportunities to explore real areas of Castle Hill to find treasure that will benefit your character as part of a treasure hunt style additive experience.

Location: Sarino’s Italian Restaurant “The Whisky Room”, Level One of Mullane’s Hotel, 36 Brookhollow Ave, Baulkham Hills NSW 2153.

Cost: $40, tickets are limited. A discounted 5-pack of sessions per player are available as well for $35 per session with additional bonuses provided for a special 10-pack of sessions.

Time: Meet at 6:30 for a 7pm start. Each session will conclude at approximately 10pm.

A Short Introduction:

Upon the Windsor Sea, a vessel charged with exploration and expansion is born from the Greater Kryal Region. Those that meet an unfamiliar shore peer across a beautiful new land with eager eyes for potential and mystical wonder. Thus the region of Castell y Hyll is founded, affectionately named in the hopes to forever preserve the view from its uniquely high central elevation. Over the next century explorers, inventors and pioneers would find the help of an endemic population with a unique spiritual connection to their land. Together in a state of harmony that is almost unheard of in other lands, a new potential is created – one that would see Explorer become King, and a lasting peace become an evolutionary progress.

As in all things, time does lead to change in people’s minds. The seed of division is sowed by the promise of ideals. New paths are illuminated that will bring great benefits to all, but to some a recognition of the great costs are too dire to ignore.

Venture forth as one who can shape their own destiny and drive a force of change within a narrative unforeseen. Will you embrace Progress, or work to hinder it?

This is but Book One of the stories to come within the region of Castell y Hyll. Throughout the Chapters that you play within the story contained to this year, the actions of your character matter and make a difference to our shared world. To what end, is not yet written. It can only be lived.

The Adventure continues away from the table!

As you come to know the region of Castell y Hyll and its foundations within our own reality, you will be invited to engage with real locations in a unique way. Our “Merging Realities” initiative will present you with clues, riddles and puzzles that will take you to specific and real locations that connect with their unreal counter-parts within our fictional world. Discover lore, earn character boons and even win prizes as you blend both worlds and create a more meaningful and engaging experience!
